This will document the journey from using Jekyll from scratch.

gem install jekyll
jekyll new .

Further, I am going to be using keybase.io with the kbfs which will automatically publish this blog.

I will use my keybase private folder to hold the source, while generating to the blog folder of my public folder.

This will allow for instant publishing.

The command that I will use to build the blog will generally be:

jekyll build --watch --incremental -d /keybase/public/kotp/blog

This allows the destination to be built, while I can choose to store the source in a version control system of my choice. The incremental means that it won’t churn so much.

Next step will be to learn what the default theme provides, and how to use it.

In the meantime, expect that this blog will change, things will break, and be fixed, and break again.
